So we have been all been playing around on the new blog for awhile, so I think it is time to capture some lessons learned/ best practices. Can anyone answer the following questions:
1) Does html code work in the comment sections? I have not found any success doing this.
2) How can I make the name posted when I comment, consistent with the name that shows when I actually post? I would prefer for my nickname to be the only one that shows up, but certainly not my first and last name. I don't need to tick off people who will make my life miserable because they know my name.
Anyone else looking for other info?

You can control the name thing by adjusting what you type into the "Name" field when you comment.

You can put in whatever you want....see?

So you just don't sign in to comment? Ok. That seems a little tedious (though to be honest, I was going through the trouble of signing in, so I guess I can stop doing that).
Now, if we can only figure out how to imbed the html in the comments...

Found the flaw. If you aren't signed in, and you put your name into the field, as well as your e-mail address, it posts your e-mail address for all to see (scroll over your name). I guess you can just lie about your e-mail address, but that is annoying.
Hmmm...

Actually, you can change your TypeKey profile such that whatever name and email you want to show up will show up when you comment. Just go to www.typekey.com. Login, then edit your profile. You can set a Nickname and such right there.
As for HTML in comments, let me see what I can turn on...it's probably a bit that needs to be flipped in the control panel.

Still not working for me Jared. I have my profile set up with the mandated *First Name, *Last Name, *e-mail address, and the optional nickname. Unfortunately, unless I change the first, last & e-mail to inaccurate info, that is what is showing when I post comments while I logged in.
I must be doing something wrong...
Also, what stinking timezone is appropriate for Central? They have this all jacked up...
I am posting at 5:48, but it shows me posting at 10:48 PM (and my computer's clock is correct).
